Job summary

365 CAPITAL SDN. BHD. is seeking a Management Trainee to support credit processing and collections, learn procedures, and assist in daily operations with the goal of progressing to a supervisory role.

Candidates should have 2–3 years in credit/collections, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to meet targets. English and Bahasa Malaysia are required; Mandarin is a plus. Based in Penang, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in credit processing, loan processing, collection or financial services.
• Experience in a credit company, financial institution or related industry is an advantage.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to handle customer enquiries and difficult cases professionally.
• Detail-oriented, organised and responsible.
• Able to work independently and meet targets/KPIs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Willing to learn and take on greater responsibilities.
• Strong interest in developing a career in credit operations and management.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process customers’ credit/loan applications.
• Check and verify customer information and supporting documents.
• Ensure all applications are complete, accurate and processed within the required timeframe.
• Follow up on pending applications and documentation.
• Maintain proper records and update customer information in the system.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding payments and overdue accounts.
• Contact customers via phone, WhatsApp or other communication channels to remind them of payment due dates.
• Follow up with customers on payment arrangements when necessary.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and ensure timely follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and payment status.
• Escalate difficult or long-overdue cases to the relevant department or management.
• Learn and understand the company’s credit processing and collection procedures.
• Assist in monitoring team performance and daily operations.
• Support management in improving workflow and operational efficiency.
• Take on additional responsibilities and gradually develop into a supervisory or management role.
