Job summary

Aeon Credit Service in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Assessment professional to evaluate customer loan applications in line with company policies and Bank Negara Malaysia guidelines. You will screen, verify, and assess applications, supporting compliant decision-making and accurate data handling.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Experience in credit assessment or related financial services is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit screening and contact verification on customer loan applications in accordance with company policies and BNM guidelines.
• Assess and evaluate applications, recommending approval, decline, or cancellation based on established criteria.
• Verify applicant and employer information to ensure accuracy and authenticity.
• Perform financial checks and document verification as required.
• Identify suspicious or fraudulent applications through database checks and investigations.
• Ensure all customer information is accurately captured and updated in the system.
• Assist Team Leader in preparing daily operational reports and supporting process improvements.
• Guide and support junior team members when required.
