Job summary

Westcon-Comstor Malaysia is seeking a skilled Credit & Collections professional to oversee end-to-end cash collection, forecast cash flow, and manage customer payment data using SAP FSCM. The role collaborates with local teams to resolve disputes and minimize risk while supporting sales and operations.

You will maintain credit limits, suggest holds when needed, and work across functions to ensure timely releases and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to 3+ years Credit and Collection experience.
• Equivalent to 3+ years Credit Risk Analysis.
• Able to speak and understand business Mandarin as the role will be communicating with Chinese speaking customers.
• Strong listening skills and understanding on how to overcome objections.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• SAP / FSCM experience required.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel and Word.
• Financial Analysis skills – Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.

Responsibilities

• Cash forecasting and maintaining promise to pay data in SAP FSCM
• Consistent and timely collection from customers using SAP FSCM tools to record engagements
• Timely dispute registration with supporting documentation using SAP FSCM tools
• Management of disputes to drive closure with local and regional teams
• Identification and escalation of distressed customers to in-country management, sales teams, vendor management teams and product management teams
• Maintenance of customer collection notes in SAP FSCM
• Work closely with in-country teams to ensure visibility of customer payment issues
• Recommend distressed accounts to be placed on credit hold and inform stakeholders
• Recommend changes to account trading conditions to management
• Sales order release management and control including late night support as required

Job description

This role encompasses Collections Management, Credit Control, audit business support, and reporting responsibilities. You will manage cash forecasting, maintain customer payment data, conduct timely collections, and handle dispute resolution. You will also recommend credit holds, manage sales order releases, monitor credit limits, and provide support across all business functions as required.
