OCBC Malaysia is seeking a Credit Assurance Specialist to support lending decisions by reviewing credit proposals, assessing risk, and ensuring controls meet regulatory standards. The role collaborates with credit teams to provide expert guidance and maintain robust risk management.

The ideal candidate has a degree in finance or business, at least 3 years in credit risk or related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team.

• Collaborating with credit teams to develop and implement credit risk management frameworks and policies
• Provide risk management guidance and support to business units
• Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures
• Collaborating with commercial banking teams to identify and assess credit risk
• Staying up-to-date with market trends and regulatory requirements

Who you are

• A degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration
• At least 3 years of experience in credit risk management or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify potential risks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of credit risk management principles and practices, including regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines
