Job summary

Hexachamp Sdn Bhd is seeking a creative Lighting Designer to develop lighting concepts and proposals based on client needs. You will prepare layouts, specifications, and technical drawings, selecting fixtures to meet budgets and design intent.

You will perform lighting calculations using DiaLux/Relux, coordinate with architects and interior designers, and participate in site visits and project reviews. Fresh graduates are welcome as training will be provided.

Qualifications

Diploma/degree in a relevant field.
Experience in lighting design is an asset.
Proficient with AutoCAD and lighting software.
Ability to read architectural drawings.

Responsibilities

Develop creative and practical lighting concepts and proposals based on client and project requirements.
Prepare lighting layouts, plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
Select suitable lighting fixtures and products according to project requirements, design intent, and budget.
Produce lighting calculations and simulations using DiaLux or Relux.
Coordinate lighting designs with architects and project teams.
Attend site visits, meetings, and project inspections when required.
Provide technical submissions and client recommendations throughout the project.
Monitor progress to ensure deliverables meet timelines.
