SINGDA SUPERALLOY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Junior Executive in Johor to manage financial records, prepare statements, and support budgeting and forecasting.

The role requires cost accounting experience and fluency in multiple languages to collaborate across teams. The successful candidate will work standard Monday-to-Friday hours, with allowances for transportation, meals and communication, and will have access to on-job training and career growth opportunities within a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from a reputable university
• 5 years finance/cost accounting experience, with 2+ years in costing
• Proficiency with SAP BI and ERP software (Oracle/SAP)

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records and update statements.
• Prepare key financial documents including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and cost control activities.
• Ensure tax compliance and assist with planning.
• Assist internal or external audits and verify financial data.
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends and risks.
• Provide advisory support on financial matters and business strategy.

• Financial Record Keeping: maintain and update financial records, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
• Financial Statement Preparation: prepare key financial documents like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide a clear picture of organization's financial health.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: help organizations manage our budgets, monitor expenses, and forecast future financial performance.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting from a reputable university. Your academic foundation will be the cornerstone of your success in this role.
• Work Experience: Bring approximately 5 years of finance/cost accounting related work experience, with more than 2 years in the costing-related area. Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred, as it will enable you to quickly adapt to our business environment.
• Language Proficiency: Be fluent in Chinese, English, and Malaysian, both in speaking and writing. This multilingual ability will facilitate effective communication across different teams and stakeholders.
• Software Skills: Have experience with SAP BI, ERP (e.g. Oracle, SAP) software. Proficiency in these tools will enhance your efficiency in data management and analysis.
• Interpersonal Skills: Be a team player with excellent communication skills. Your ability to collaborate effectively and share your knowledge will be essential in driving the success of the finance team and the organization as a whole.
