Job summary

FUTURE FOOD SDN. BHD. is seeking a Costing Analyst to prepare cost estimates for new or special products, and to monitor and update standard costs in the system.

You will collaborate with management and production teams to develop meaningful product costing reports and operational analytics, including COGM calculations, variances, and cost improvements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge in Cost Analysis and Financial Principles.
• Committed team player with positive learning attitude, self-motivated and with good communication skills.
• Knowledge in AutoCount and ERP system advantageous.
• Experience in FMCG background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of new or special products for establishing selling prices and production forecasts
• Monitor and update the standard cost of materials in the system and highlight any abnormal pricing trends
• Verify the bill of material (BOM), performing validation and cost roll up where required
• Compile all cost related data, such as yields, utilities consumption, direct labour cost for analysis purposes
• Prepare initial costing analysis to determine the Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM)
• Work closely with all levels of management and operation teams to develop meaningful Product Costing reports, weekly, monthly, and variance reports, along with other Operational and Production analytics
• Perform statistical analysis and prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly data presentations to upper management concerning results, variances, and improvements as they relate to Product Costing, Labour Cost, Facility and Utility Cost, Waste and Operational Efficiencies
• Monitor operation and production efficiencies, materials supply and other standards related to product costing
• Help the operation, purchasing, and sales management to understand their respective Product Cost reports, rankings, and identify opportunities
• Oversee annual physical inventory management, control and audit

About you
