Job summary

Alliance Contract Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Cost Accountant to prepare and maintain standard costs, analyze material and overhead costs, and perform variance analysis. The role includes supporting monthly inventory valuation and reconciling stock against system records.

You will be the costing contact for key customer accounts and aid the Cost Manager with ad hoc tasks. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in general/cost accounting, strong Excel skills (Power Query/Power BI), and a

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Business Administration.
2–5 years of working experience in General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
Knowledge of mySAP (CO/MM) ERP system is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain standard costs, including BOM verification and costing setup in the system.
Analyze material, labour and overhead costs, and perform actual vs standard variance analysis.
Support monthly inventory valuation (RM, WIP, FG) and ensure transactions are properly costed.
Reconcile physical stock against system records and investigate variances.
Serve as costing point of contact for assigned key customer accounts.
Support the Cost Manager on other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
