Job summary

ACCA Careers in Malaysia seeks a senior accounting professional to drive costing, stock valuation, and product profitability reporting for a manufacturing portfolio. You will lead budgeting, segment P&L analysis, and rolling forecasts, while strengthening internal controls and compliance with MFRS/IFRS and SST regulations.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate audits, and collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and Finance to optimize cost structures and financial governance across palm oil

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA) are highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of costing/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and Malaysian tax regulations (Income Tax, SST, Withholding Tax).

Responsibilities

• Costing, stock valuation & product profitability management.
• Plan, organize, and monitor costing systems and inventory reporting.
• Prepare monthly stock valuations and costing for WIP and finished goods.
• Maintain cost allocation bases for raw materials, production costs, and factory overhead absorption rates.
• Analyze product profitability across groups and highlight cost risks to management.
• Prepare segment P&L reporting and support budgeting and rolling forecasts.
• Review payments, invoices, and audit readiness; strengthen internal governance.
