Rapsys Technologies Pte Ltd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Manager to join our team. The role focuses on cost planning, estimating, change management, and project close-out, ensuring cost visibility and strong financial controls across projects.

You will collaborate with senior managers, designers, contractors, and clients, progressively taking ownership of work packages while maintaining accurate records and supporting value engineering and lifecycle costing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related.
• Experience in cost management, budgeting, and project financials.
• Proficiency with Excel and cost reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support cost estimates and cost plans using project data and benchmarks.
• Assist with value engineering and lifecycle costing to identify cost efficiencies.
• Prepare and maintain cost control reports, forecasts, and financial reporting for senior review.
• Maintain change order logs, invoice logs, commitments, and detailed project cost reports.
• Review change orders and invoices for completeness and alignment with records.
• Identify cost risks and support the project risk register.
• Assist in pre-contract and post-contract meetings with cost input.
• Document decisions and cost implications from meetings.
