Job summary

Hittech Wemac Sdn Bhd, based in Malaysia, is seeking a cost accounting professional to optimize cost control across production, operations, and projects. The role focuses on identifying cost-saving opportunities through rigorous cost analysis and reporting.

You will develop standard costing models, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure cost data accuracy within the ERP system, coordinating with finance, engineering, sales, procurement, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Experience in cost accounting and budgeting in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production, operational, and project costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare cost analysis, variance analysis, and profitability reports.
• Monitor actual costs vs. budget and investigate variances.
• Collaborate with finance, Engineering, Sales, procurement, and operations for accurate cost allocation.
• Maintain cost data within the ERP system and support monthly closings.
• Develop and maintain standard costing models; assist budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Improve cost tracking and reporting through ERP optimization.
