A leading automotive company in Penang is seeking a Corporate Identity Management Assistant Manager to oversee the setup of new showrooms and branches. The role requires coordinating with management, contractors, and local authorities to ensure projects meet design concepts and schedules. Ideal candidates should have a degree related to business and at least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of market trends is essential.
Responsible in set up new showroom, Best Shop, Smart Shop, Best Corner and branches as per company's expansion plan.
Coordinate closely with top management, principle, business partner and contractor on new shop renovation concept and design.
Liaise with contractor, designer, local authority and related parties for business licensing and renovation approvals.
Monitor and supervise the set up work and make sure it follow the concept, agreement and schedule as per plan ahead.
Coordinate with all parties to make sure suggestions and ideas been heard and come into a mutual confirmed conclusion before any works been carry out.
To update management the progress and issues encounter periodically.
To follow up closely and make sure the project progress as per schedule and to avoid any delay from any parties.
Provide alternatives and solutions to management to overcome the delay of project.
To build and strengthen network with dealers and sub-dealers by actively participating in planning for dealers-customer activity/event to support business module.
Participates in company’s motorcycle events, roadshows and dealer activities to gain latest market trend and information.
To perform ad-hoc duties as per management request.
Job Requirements:
Possess at least Diploma or Degree in Business Administration / Management, Marketing / Business Development or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of working experience, preferably in automotive / motorcycle industry.
Expert knowledge of current marketing trends and multimedia platforms.
Experience in event management, advertising development and market research studies.
Good command of written and spoken in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. Multilingual ability especially in local Mandarin dialect is preferable due to the need of coordinate with principle from Mandarin speaking country and serving Mandarin-speaking vendors/contractors.
Possess valid driving license of class B2 & D and willing frequent travel locally and outstation.
