Job summary

Mycron Steel Berhad seeks a reliable driver to transport the Principal and executives, ensuring safety and confidentiality at all times.

You will plan routes, follow traffic laws, and coordinate outstation travel as required, while keeping vehicles clean and well-maintained. Standby availability and discretion are essential traits for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a personal or company driver.

Responsibilities

• Safely and punctually transport the Principal, management and authorised guests to their destinations.
• Comply with traffic laws and practise safe and defensive driving.
• Plan suitable routes using navigation applications such as Waze and provide outstation transportation when required.
• Ensure the assigned company vehicle is clean, safe and in good working condition.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks and arrange servicing or maintenance when required.
• Report any vehicle issues and maintain relevant vehicle and fuel records.
• Remain contactable and available for driving assignments as required.
• Stand by at designated locations when required by the Principal or Management.
• Support the Principal's transportation requirements based on the schedule provided.
• Assist with the delivery and collection of company documents, parcels and other items.
• Assist with transportation-related needs, including luggage, when required.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Principal, PA or Management.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding the Principal's personal and business matters.
• Maintain a professional, courteous and presentable manner at all times.
• Comply with company policies and applicable safety requirements.

B. COMPANY VEHICLE MAINTENANCE

• Ensure the assigned company vehicle is clean, safe and in good working condition.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks and arrange servicing or maintenance when required.
• Report any vehicle issues and maintain relevant vehicle and fuel records.

C. AVAILABILITY & STANDBY

• Remain contactable and available for driving assignments as required.
• Stand by at designated locations when required by the Principal or Management.

E. AD-HOC ASSIGNMENTS
