Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a skilled AS400 developer to join a banking technology project in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining core banking applications, including loans, limits, collateral management, and provisioning systems.

You will perform change requests, support DevOps, and troubleshoot across AS400/DB2 environments. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in AS400 development, strong RPG and C skills, and experience with Rocket Aldon.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in AS400 application development.
• Strong hands-on experience in RPG and C programming.
• Experience with AS400 and DB2.
• Experience in Core Banking or lending systems.
• Exposure to DevOps and deployment activities.
• Experience with Rocket Aldon tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong problem-solving capability.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently in project/support environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Core Banking applications related to Loans & Credit, Limits Management, Collateral Management, and Provisioning systems.
• Perform impact analysis and implement change requests and defect fixes.
• Support DevOps and deployment activities within AS400 environments.
• Work with AS400/DB2 environments; analyze and troubleshoot issues.
• Support batch processing and integration activities.
• Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT activities; troubleshoot production issues and provide fixes.
• Maintain technical and deployment documentation and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
