Job summary

KG INFORMATION SYSTEMS SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced IT professional to lead Core Banking projects from initiation to production rollout.

The role requires coordinating with business users, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver successful implementations, upgrades, migrations, or transformations. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of IT experience with Core Banking exposure, deep knowledge of banking products, and strong PM skills in Waterfall or Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• At least 8+ years of IT experience with strong exposure to Core Banking systems.
• Experience managing Core Banking implementation, upgrade, migration, or transformation projects.
• Good understanding of banking products such as CASA, Loans, Deposits, Payments, and Customer Management.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall / Agile).
• Experience with vendor and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Core Banking projects from initiation to production rollout.
• Coordinate with business users, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Gather and manage business and technical requirements.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports.
• Track project progress, budget, scope, and resource utilization.
• Lead project meetings, workshops, and steering committee updates.
• Manage system integration, testing, data migration, and deployment activities.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal governance standards.
• Support post-implementation activities and production stabilization.
