Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced AS/400 COBOL Developer to provide L2 application support and development within a Core Banking environment. You will work on Channels & EAI systems, ensuring reliable and efficient processing for enterprise clients.

You will develop, maintain, and enhance applications using RPG, C, and Java, troubleshoot incidents, support payment systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any related discipline.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Hands-on experience with the AS400 platform and DB2 database.
• Proficiency in RPG, C, and/or Java programming.
• Experience in L2 support, including incident handling and issue resolution.
• Experience working with the ALDON deployment tool.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Channels & EAI applications on the AS400 platform.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using RPG, C, and/or Java.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform incident resolution.
• Support payment systems and ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and implement improvements.
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and fixes.
• Work with DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Manage and support ALDON for software deployment automation on AS400.
