Job summary

JEV Management is seeking a Junior Copier Technician to repair, service, and troubleshoot copier machines and printers on-site in Malaysia. The role requires at least 2 years of copier repair experience and familiarity with brands like Ricoh, Canon, Toshiba, Konica Minolta, Xerox, or Kyocera, plus network test capabilities.

You will support customers, perform quality checks, and maintain documentation of tests and repairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of copier repair experience.
• Experience servicing brands: Ricoh, Canon, Toshiba, Konica Minolta, Xerox, or Kyocera.
• Familiar with copier/printer software applications.
• Able to install and test network connectivity on-site.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Hands-on and technically capable of troubleshooting copier and printer issues.

Responsibilities

• Repair & Technical Support: Maintain and perform hands-on repairs and servicing for copier machines and printers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with copier and printer equipment.
• Provide technical advice and reports regarding product quality and performance.
• Attend to faulty products at customer premises when required.
• Product Testing & Quality Inspection: Conduct quality inspections when stock arrives.
• Perform product testing using samples provided for copier machines and printers.
• Assess and report on the quality and functionality of samples and products.
• Customer Support & Documentation: Resolve customer complaints involving faulty products when on-site support is required.
• File and maintain samples submitted for testing, faulty items, and other relevant records.
• Perform other technical or operational tasks as assigned.

Our client is looking for a Copier Technician to handle machine repairs, servicing, product testing, quality inspections, and on-site technical support. This role is suitable for candidates with at least 2 years of copier repair experience who are comfortable providing technical assistance and resolving customer issues.
