Overview

We are looking for a Conveyancing Lawyer & Conveyancing Clerk who's passionate, reliable, and experienced in handling Sub sale & Corporate Loan property transactions. If you enjoy working independently, keeping things organized, and dealing with clients, bankers, and agents, we'd love to have you on our team.

Responsibilities
  • Handle property transactions, ensuring all processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and manage Sale & Purchase Agreements (SPA) and loan documentation.
  • Handle and follow up Sub Sale transaction from start to finish.
  • Liaise with clients to provide legal advice and ensure they understand the conveyancing process.
  • Communicate with financial institutions, developers, and government authorities to facilitate transactions.
  • Ensure the timely and smooth completion of all conveyancing matters.
  • Conduct legal research related to conveyancing matters.
  • Manage conveyancing files with minimal supervision.
  • Assist with the drafting and preparation of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, letters and other legal forms related to the conveyancing process.
  • Liaise with clients and other parties involved in the transaction, including real estate agents, banks and other solicitors, to ensure that all legal requirements are met.
  • Liaise with governmental authorities, including land offices.
  • Conduct property searches and other research as required.
  • Assist with the management of files including maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
  • Attend to general administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones and responding to emails.
  • Ensure that all work is completed within required timelines and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB).
  • At least 3 years of experience in conveyancing.
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing procedures, land law, and related regulations in Malaysia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and third parties.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Applicants must possess good written & verbal communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin will be an added advantage.
