A reputable law firm in Selangor is seeking a Legal Assistant to assist in preparing conveyancing documents and liaising with clients and banks. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in conveyancing or litigation, or fresh graduates eager to learn are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, along with good communication and typing skills, are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in conveyancing or litigation.
  • Good typing skill and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

Job Description
  • Assist lawyers to prepare and handle all related conveyancing documents;
  • Follow up with banks, developers, government departments and related parties;
  • Monitor and follow up closely with all conveyancing files;
  • Draw up SPA documents and preparing relevant forms/ correspondence documents related with the loan / SPA;
  • To monitor loan / SPA files from the initial stage till the completion;
  • Handle matters ranging from perfection and sub-sales;
  • Ensure to complete any task / file given within the stipulated time in order to avoid any late penalty;
  • Liaise and maintain a good working relationship with clients, bank officers and property agents.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in conveyancing or Litigation. However fresh graduate interested to learn about conveyancing task are encouraged to apply too;
  • Able to work with minimum supervision;
  • Possess good attitude & willing to learn;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good typing skill and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel);
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
