Ahmad Deniel, Ruben & Co is a reputable Malaysia-based legal firm seeking a Junior Legal Associate specializing in Conveyancing. The role targets lawyers with 1–2 years of practical conveyancing experience, especially with developer or project transactions.

You will assist in managing conveyancing files, prepare and review documents, liaise with clients and authorities, and ensure transactions progress smoothly within timelines in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

1–2 years of practical conveyancing experience, preferably with developer or project matters.
Basic knowledge of conveyancing procedures, Sale and Purchase Agreements, loan docs and related instruments.
Good written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assist in handling conveyancing matters, especially developer/project transactions.
Prepare, review and execute Sale and Purchase Agreements, loan documents, transfer documents and related instruments.
Manage assigned files from inception to completion under supervision.
Liaise with clients, developers, banks, agents and authorities on matters relating to assigned files.
Follow up on documentation, signatures, payments, stamping, registration and other requirements for timely completion.
Conduct searches and assist with land office, stamping and registration processes.
Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding matters to progress files efficiently.
Identify and escalate issues or documentation discrepancies to supervising lawyer.
