Job summary

BMW Group Malaysia is seeking a Controlling Executive (External Contract) to support its Finance team. The role focuses on cost management, financial analysis and reporting across the business, collaborating with Finance, Sales Planning, Treasury, Accounting and external partners.

The successful candidate will contribute to cost databases, budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision support within BMW Asia Technology Centre (ATC). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics or a related numerical discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data and numbers.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to SAP would be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proactive, organised and capable of working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Cost of Sales databases for CBU and CKD operations.
• Perform CKD production costing calculations and provide costing information to key stakeholders.
• Support FX hedging requirement calculations and coordinate with Treasury on hedging proposals.
• Manage plant cost invoice processing and payment administration.
• Coordinate company vehicle leasing and insurance matters, including planning and payment activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for BMW Asia Technology Centre (ATC).
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, cost analysis, and data submissions.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales Planning, Accounting, Treasury, and external service providers.
