We are looking for Engineers and Senior Engineers with experience or strong interest in SCADA, industrial automation and power systems to support the design, integration, testing and commissioning of plant monitoring and control systems. Candidates with knowledge of Malaysian Grid Code, electrical power systems, industrial communication protocols and networking are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement SCADA, PPC, EMS, RTU, MMF, weather stations, communication gateways and control systems.
- Prepare and review engineering documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements, Grid Codes and applicable standards.
2. System Configuration & Integration
- Support the configuration, testing and integration of SCADA, PPC, EMS, RTU, HMI and communication systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and system providers on design, testing and commissioning.
3. Factory & Site Testing
- Prepare and execute FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning and Grid Code Testing activities.
- Perform communication, point-to-point, functional and signal testing, including troubleshooting and system verification.
4. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support throughout project execution, commissioning, warranty and DLP.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions, coordinating with customers, OEMs, utilities and subcontractors.
- Prepare engineering, commissioning, test and as-built documentation, including lessons learned.
- Contribute to engineering templates, technical knowledge databases and continuous improvement.
Expected Candidate Profile
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Internship or project experience in SCADA, PLC, DCS, SAS, power systems or industrial automation is an added advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in SCADA, PLC, DCS, SAS, power systems or industrial automation is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with the Malaysian Grid Code and basic electrical power systems.
- Basic knowledge of SCADA, industrial automation and communication protocols.
- Basic understanding of industrial networking.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
