Job summary

ART FACADE SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Construction) to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion on a contract basis in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive planning, procurement, site inspections and progress reporting to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires a Civil/Construction Engineering degree, at least 5 years of project management experience, strong knowledge of local codes, and the ability to coordinate with clients,

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in construction project management or project engineering.
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale projects from planning through completion.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all construction activities to meet schedules and budgets.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address issues promptly.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment and subcontractors while ensuring quality and safety.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports and drawings.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and architects to ensure clear communication.
• Enforce health and safety protocols across sites.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise delays and costs.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and ensure compliance with codes and regs.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management and clients.
