Job summary

Intel Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager (Contract) to lead a technicians team and oversee production, maintenance, and safety in Kulim, Kedah. You will drive schedules and resolve issues to keep operations efficient.

You should have a strong engineering background, at least 2 years in similar roles, and be prepared for shift work in a startup-like manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years and above of relevant professional experience, including at least 1 year of experience leading a team of technicians.
• Strong engineering or technical background is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-related field such as Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage stress.
• Willing and able to work onsite in Kulim and on shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and leads a team of technicians overseeing operations, equipment maintenance, and repair in manufacturing facilities.
• Owns safety, quality, scheduling, and conflict resolution amongst staff and stakeholders.
• Oversees flow of work and streamlining processes between groups and divisions.
• Establishes tactical plans to meet production schedules within quality and cost objectives.
• Ensures optimum performance in safety, quality, output, and cost through staffing and training.
