Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Site Manager to lead warehouse operations and the people who keep it running, building strong customer partnerships and delivering exceptional service. You will drive safety, performance, and continuous improvement across the operation.

You will oversee onboarding of new customers, develop future leaders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft seamless logistics solutions.

Qualifications

8+ years' experience in Contract Logistics, Warehousing, or Supply Chain Operations.
Experience leading warehouse operations as a Site Manager or similar.
Proven success managing safety, service, productivity, and cost KPIs.
Strong people leadership with coaching and development.
Excellent customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
Experience driving Lean or Operational Excellence initiatives.
Knowledge of customer contracts, budgets, and performance.

Responsibilities

Responsibilites

Support business growth by contributing operational expertise to customer tenders and new business proposals.

Work collaboratively with Distribution, Customer Solutions, Engineering, and Business Development teams to ensure seamless logistics solutions.

Monitor productivity, resource planning, and operational performance to maximise efficiency while maintaining service excellence.

Build strong relationships with customers through regular engagement, performance reviews, and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements

8+ years' experience in Contract Logistics, Warehousing, or Supply Chain Operations.

Previous experience leading warehouse operations as a Site Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role.

Demonstrated success managing operational KPIs across safety, service, productivity, and cost.

Strong people leadership with experience coaching and developing operational teams.

Excellent customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience driving Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Operational Excellence initiatives.

Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of customer contracts, budgets, and operational performance.

Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse automation technologies is advantageous.

Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
