Job summary

City Zone Express is seeking a Road Logistics Branch Manager to oversee the Iskandar Puteri trucking operations, drive branch growth, and ensure profitability. You will lead dispatch, route optimization, and safety-compliant service delivery to customers.

You will manage vehicles and drivers, recruit and train staff, coordinate with warehousing, monitor KPIs, and prepare shipping documents. English and Bahasa Malaysia communication is essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and strong

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma holder.
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily branch trucking operations, including scheduling, dispatching and route optimization.
• Ensure timely, safe, and efficient transportation of goods.
• Manage vehicle and driver assignments and coordinate with fleet maintenance teams for vehicle upkeep.
• Recruit, train, and manage branch employees including drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to trucking service.
• Monitor shipments in transit and proactively resolve any delivery issues or delays.
• Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and dispatch.
• Manage road freight movements to ensure timely delivery.
• Track and report on key logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, transport cost, and load utilization.
• Prepare and review shipping documents, manifests, and invoices.
