Job summary

Gradiant Malaysia Sdn. Bhd is seeking an Assistant Manager – Contract & Commercial to oversee end-to-end contract administration and commercial management for project lifecycles in Malaysia.

You will work with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance to protect contractual rights and maximise entitlements. Responsibilities include reviewing tenders, administering contracts, managing EOT/VO and contractual claims, and ensuring timely payment applications and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, QS, construction management or related discipline.
• Demonstrated knowledge of contract administration and commercial management in EPC/engineering projects.
• Hands-on experience with EOT, VO, contractual claims and payment submissions.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, contracts and commercial documents to understand project scope and obligations.
• Administer project contracts through the lifecycle with proper records and communication.
• Prepare EOT submissions, Variation Orders and contractual claims with cost substantiation.
• Prepare and monitor payment applications and contractual milestones to ensure timely invoicing.
