Job summary

Samurai 2K Aerosol Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a creative Digital Content Creator to join our marketing team. You will produce and edit high-quality images and videos optimized for social platforms, driving engagement, brand awareness and sales.

You will plan, shoot, edit, design posters and promotional visuals using Photoshop/Illustrator, CapCut, and AI tools. You will work with instructors, marketing and service teams to develop training content and promotional campaigns.

Job description

We are seeking a creative and skilled Digital Content Creator to join our marketing team. This role involves producing and editing high-quality images and videos optimized for all social media platforms. You will be responsible for generating compelling visual content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and sales.

Key responsibilities

Plan, shoot, edit and produce engaging photo and video content for Samurai Academy, Samurai Service and promotional activities across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.

Create and design posters, graphics, promotional visuals and marketing materials using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and other relevant design tools, while ensuring consistency with Samurai's brand guidelines.

Produce and edit short-form and long-form video content for Samurai Academy, Samurai Service, promotional campaigns, training materials and other marketing purposes using CapCut and other video editing tools.

Develop creative content for online courses, offline academy programmes, training sessions and hub/service promotions to support awareness, engagement and business objectives.

Create advertising creatives, campaign materials and promotional content to support marketing campaigns, product launches, service promotions and other company initiatives.

Work closely with instructors, live hosts, marketing teams and service teams to plan, prepare and produce training, educational and promotional content.

Assist in preparing video, graphic and presentation materials required for Samurai Academy training programmes, including content for online learning and offline training sessions.

Schedule and manage content publishing across Samurai Academy and Samurai Service social media platforms, ensuring content is delivered according to the approved content calendar.

Maintain and update the content calendar to ensure timely production, approval, scheduling and publishing of content across relevant platforms.

Leverage generative AI tools and emerging content technologies to develop creative images, video concepts and other digital content that support marketing and communication objectives.

Ensure all visual and video content maintains consistent branding, tone of voice, key messages and visual identity across Samurai Academy, Samurai Service and promotional channels.

Collaborate with marketing and product/service teams to understand campaign objectives and translate key messages into creative and engaging digital content.

Stay updated on social media trends, platform developments, content formats and emerging creative styles to improve content quality, engagement and brand visibility.

Monitor content performance and audience engagement where required, and provide feedback or recommendations to improve future content.

Organize and maintain digital assets, including raw footage, edited videos, graphics, photos, campaign materials and other creative files, for easy access and future use.

Support other content creation, digital marketing, academy, service and promotional activities as assigned by the HOD or Management.

About you

Proven experience as a digital content creator or similar role

Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Capcut video editor

Experience with generative AI tools for content creation (e.g., Nano Banana, Veo 3, Adobe Firefly, Dreamina AI)

Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and audience engagement strategies

Excellent visual storytelling skills and a keen eye for design and detail

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Basic understanding of digital marketing analytics and ability to assess content performance (preferred)
