Job summary

Samurai 2K Aerosol Limited is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities, expand our customer and distribution network, and drive sustainable revenue growth in local and international markets. The role spans business development, digital sales, e-commerce, partnerships, and commercial negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Digital Commerce, Commercial Management or Key Account Management.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Experience in aerosol, automotive refinishing, paint, coatings, chemical, manufacturing or consumer products is an advantage.
• Experience in e-commerce, distributor development or international market expansion preferred.
• Strong negotiation, proposal and relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of pricing, margins, ROI.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital/reporting platforms.

Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities, expand our customer and distribution network, and drive sustainable revenue growth in both local and international markets. The role covers business development, digital sales, e-commerce, strategic partnerships, commercial negotiations and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue, profitability and market growth targets.

Identify and develop new customers, distributors, dealers, corporate accounts and strategic partners.

Explore new markets, customer segments, sales channels and partnership opportunities.

Drive business opportunities through e-commerce marketplaces, websites, social media and other digital channels.

Build and maintain a strong business pipeline and convert opportunities into profitable business.

Conduct market and competitor research to identify market trends, customer needs and new opportunities.

Prepare business proposals, quotations, presentations and commercial plans.

Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with customers and business partners.

Evaluate pricing, margins, payment terms, commercial risks and expected returns.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors and strategic partners.

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Production, Finance, Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics to ensure successful execution of business opportunities.

Monitor business performance, digital sales, customer acquisition and conversion results.

Lead, coach and monitor team members to achieve departmental objectives.

Prepare regular business development reports, forecasts and pipeline updates.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Commerce or related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Digital Commerce, Commercial Management or Key Account Management.

At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.

Experience in aerosol, automotive refinishing, paint, coatings, chemical, manufacturing or consumer products will be an added advantage.

Experience in e-commerce, distributor development or international market expansion is preferred.

Strong commercial negotiation, business proposal and relationship management skills.

Good understanding of pricing, margins, costs and ROI.

Strong leadership, communication, presentation and analytical skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant digital/reporting platforms.

Good command of written and spoken English; Bahasa Malaysia and other languages are an advantage.

Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel locally or internationally when required.
