JIEN LI SDN BHD is seeking a Content Creator & Videographer to independently develop original video ideas and monthly content plans, research topics and trends to identify engaging opportunities, and create short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and more.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience in content creation, videography and editing, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

Qualifikationen

• 2–4 years of content creation, videography and editing experience.
• Strong portfolio of original ideas and videos.
• Ability to take videos from concept to finished product with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Excellent understanding of short-form storytelling, lighting and sound.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; Bahasa Malaysia a plus.

We are seeking a Content Creator & Videographer to independently develop original video ideas and monthly content plans, research topics and trends to identify engaging content opportunities, and create short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and other platforms.

Key responsibilities

Independently develop original video ideas and monthly content plans

Research topics, trends and audience interests to identify engaging content opportunities

Write short video scripts, hooks and shot lists

Plan and execute filming for product showcases, craftsmanship, company stories, interviews and behind-the-scenes content

Independently operate cameras, lighting and audio equipment

Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and other platforms

Handle subtitles, sound design, colour correction, music and basic motion graphics

Review content performance and suggest improvements to future videos

Maintain an organized library of raw footage, project files and final exports

Work with management to ensure content aligns with the company's brand and business objectives

About you

Preferably 2–4 years of relevant experience in content creation, videography and video editing

Strong portfolio demonstrating original ideas, filming and editing skills

Able to take a video from concept to finished product with minimal supervision

Proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent software

Good understanding of short-form storytelling, framing, lighting and sound

Commercial content or corporate interview experience is an advantage

Able to communicate in Mandarin and English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage

Creative, proactive, organized and comfortable receiving feedback

Able to present funeral-related products and cultural topics professionally and respectfully
