Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.
• CGPA > 3.0 / 2nd Class Upper (Hons).
• Basic IT concepts and interest in enterprise infrastructure and container platforms.
• Ability to read and understand simple technical information and platform docs.
• Good communication and proactive follow-up with users.
• Understanding of Kubernetes concepts and DevOps deployment processes.
• Basic experience with Excel, SharePoint, ticketing systems or similar tools.
• English language proficiency.
• Internship duration of minimum 3 months.
• Willing to work in Cyberjaya.

Responsibilities

• Support platform housekeeping by identifying, tracking, and following up on open cleanup items with application teams and users.
• Contact users regarding environment issues, missing inputs, outdated resources, unclear ownership, or required confirmations.
• Help users understand basic platform-related requests and guide them through standard steps.
• Maintain tracking information in Excel, SharePoint, ticketing systems, and internal docs.
• Learn tools and technologies used by platform teams: OpenShift, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Helm, Kyverno, Argo CD.
• Collaborate with the Container Platform Services team to elevate technical questions to platform engineers.

Our Container Platform Services team supports shared OpenShift and Kubernetes-based platforms used by application teams across DHL. We are looking for a motivated student who would help us with platform housekeeping activities, user communication, follow-ups, and basic coordination related to environment cleanup and operational hygiene.

Grow together We are looking for a student to join our Container Platform Services team and support practical housekeeping and coordination activities around our OpenShift platform environment. This role is suitable for someone who is interested in IT operations, Kubernetes, DevOps delivery processes, and communication with application teams, while not requiring software development responsibilities or administrative access to production systems.

During the internship period, you will be exposed to these areas:

Requirements

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, or a related field.
• Current Academic result: CGPA > 3.0/ 2nd Class Upper (Hons)
• Basic orientation in IT concepts and willingness to learn about enterprise infrastructure and container platforms.
• Ability to read and understand simple technical information, instructions, and platform-related documentation.
• Good communication skills and confidence in contacting users, following up on open topics, and asking for required inputs.
• Understanding of Kubernetes concepts and DevOps deployment processes sufficient to support user communication and basic guidance.
• Basic experience with Excel, SharePoint, ticketing systems, or similar tracking and collaboration tools.
• Required language: English
• Internship period of minimum (3 months)

Our work combines reliable IT operations, platform engineering, automation, governance, and close cooperation with users and internal teams. In this student role, you will have the opportunity to learn how large-scale enterprise container platforms are operated in practice, support us with environment housekeeping activities, and build hands-on experience with tools such as OpenShift, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Helm, Kyverno, and Argo CD. You will not be expected to develop software or administer production systems, but you will become an important part of the team by helping us improve operational hygiene, follow up on open topics, and support our users in a structured and professional way.
