Job summary

SITC Container Lines Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu is seeking an Equipment Control Executive to coordinate container movements with port, depots, and haulage providers, ensuring smooth operations. You will oversee the availability and condition of containers at the branch, arrange maintenance with depots, and report regularly to HQ on shortages, repairs, and inventory discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Shipping, Supply Chain or Logistics required or preferred.
• 2+ years experience in shipping or logistics preferred.
• Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin helpful for HQ in Shanghai.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate container movements with port, depots and haulage providers.
• Work with depots for container maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee availability and maintenance of containers at the branch level.
• Provide regular reports to HQ on container operations, shortages, repairs, and inventory discrepancies.
