Job summary

WhiteCrow Research Pvt. Ltd. is assisting a global technology leader in hiring a Consulting Engineer - Data Center in Kuala Lumpur.

The role requires leading strategy, design, and deployment of complex Data Center networks, with hands-on Nexus and ACI experience, to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions. The candidate should bring 8–12 years of customer-facing technical consulting and pre-sales expertise, plus certifications (CCIE/CCNP or VCP) and deep DC technology knowledge.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in customer-facing technical consulting, pre-sales, and/or service delivery roles.
• Deep knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols (vPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) with strong hands-on Nexus platform experience.
• Lead & drive technology design, implementation, execution, and/or optimization for projects/accounts to accelerate customer outcomes.
• Experience in design and deployment of Data Center solutions including traditional DC standalone Nexus design, VXLAN Fabric and ACI Fabric solutions using ACI MultiPod/Multisite/Remote Leaf Fabric architectures.
• Partnered with customers to design and implement network solutions, ensuring seamless system integration and proactive service assurance
• Active Data Center certification such as CCIE or CCNP, or equivalent vendor certification (e.g. VCP)
• Experience integrating network services appliances (such as firewalls, IPS, load balancers, WAN optimizers) within Data Center solution designs
• Experience in Build and reviews project work e.g. Design recommendations, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Implementation/ Change Management Plans.

• Drive technology transitions and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and provide advanced troubleshooting.
• Leverage deep expertise to resolve critical customer challenges across DC and networking.
• Develop reusable digital intellectual capital and best practices to improve delivery efficiency.
• Promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the CX team.
• Strengthen customer relationships by delivering high-quality engagements and exceptional experiences.
• Align technology strategies with customer goals to improve network performance and scalability.

As a Consulting Engineer - Data Center, you will be responsible for...

What you already have...

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 8–12 years of relevant experience in customer-facing technical consulting, pre-sales, and/or service delivery roles
