Job summary

You will work on real projects, develop professional skills, and build a foundation for a career in civil and structural engineering.

The role focuses on hands-on design, site data collection, and learning construction codes and standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Understanding of structural analysis principles and design practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with BS, Eurocodes or local Malaysian codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting senior engineers in the design and analysis of structural systems and components.
• Conducting site inspections and surveys to gather data for engineering assessments.
• Preparing technical drawings, specifications and documentation using CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Supporting the development of engineering calculations and structural models under supervision.
• Participating in project meetings and contributing to problem-solving discussions.
• Assisting with the preparation of reports, proposals and project documentation.
• Learning and applying construction codes, standards and best practices relevant to civil and structural engineering.
• Supporting the coordination between different project teams and stakeholders.
• Performing research on engineering materials, construction methods and emerging technologies.
• Assisting with quality assurance and quality control activities on projects.
