Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to support the Construction Manager and Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day construction and site activities. The candidate will ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and to approved specifications and quality standards.

The role requires coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors, planning activities at least one week in advance, and maintaining project documentation and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating day-to-day construction/site activities.
• Ability to plan and coordinate activities at least one week in advance.
• Strong communication with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Manager and Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily construction and site activities.
• Attend site coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Liaise with project stakeholders regarding requirements, schedules, deliverables, and site matters.
• Monitor and manage project tasks to ensure work meets the approved schedule and requirements.
• Prepare and update the Project Resource Management Plan on a weekly basis.
• Keep the Project Issue Tracker and Risk Log up to date for identified risks.
