Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a site supervisor to oversee construction projects, ensuring safety and quality while coordinating with subcontractors and main contractors. You will prepare daily progress reports and monitor schedules to keep timelines on track.

The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience, good communication and leadership, and the ability to read construction drawings; basic MS Office skills are required for reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role in construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site checks and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports detailing work completed, manpower, materials, and any site issues.
• Coordinate and communicate efficiently with subcontractors (subcon)andmain contractors (maincon) to ensure smooth workflow and resolve on-site issues.
• Monitor work schedules and ensure timely execution of activities as per project timelines.
• Enforce site safety protocols and company regulations.
• Report any delays, risks, or deviations from the plan to the Project Manager promptly.
• Assist in site logistics, material management, and site housekeeping.
