Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to develop and manage the project schedule using MS Project, monitor progress, and coordinate with site teams. The role requires 3–5 years in construction scheduling, a civil engineering or related degree, and proficiency in MS Project (Primavera P6 a plus).

Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills are essential, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within construction.
• Proficient in MS Project; knowledge of Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, scheduling and critical path analysis.
• Excellent analytical, coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update the overall project schedule using Microsoft Project.
• Monitor project progress and ensure schedules reflect site activities and milestones.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather progress updates.
• Track project performance against the baseline programme and identify critical path activities and risks.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules and recommend recovery or mitigation plans to minimise delays.
• Coordinate manpower planning, material delivery schedules and sequencing to support project execution.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and scheduling analyses for management and clients.
• Maintain baseline schedules, revised programmes and delay records.
• Attend progress meetings and present schedule updates and critical issues.
• Conduct schedule and delay analysis to support project planning.
