Job summary

Talent Switch is seeking a Finance Manager in Kuala Lumpur to oversee all financial activities and ensure regulatory compliance. You will guide senior management with strategic financial insights, manage budgeting and forecasting, and lead a growing finance team.

The role requires a minimum of eight years in finance with at least three in a managerial capacity, preferably with construction or property experience, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years in finance with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Construction or property development experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support growth and profitability.
• Oversee preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify improvement opportunities, and advise senior management.
• Manage cash flow including forecasting, budgeting, and expense/revenue monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Lead FP&A processes, providing insights for decision making.
• Monitor and manage investments and assets.
• Support internal stakeholders with financial guidance.
• Mentor and develop the finance team.
