Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and safety regulations
• Proven experience in project planning, scheduling and cost management
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with Malaysian building regulations and construction practices is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction through to project completion
• Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets and resource allocation plans
• Manage project teams, including contractors, subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
• Monitor project progress and performance against key performance indicators, identifying and mitigating risks
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes and contractual obligations
• Manage project costs, procurement and contract administration
• Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders and senior management
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to maintain construction standards
• Resolve conflicts and manage changes to project scope in consultation with relevant parties
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and government authorities to ensure smooth project delivery
