Job summary

Landhon Builders seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead planning, implementation and monitoring of large-scale projects. You will oversee objectives, timelines and quality, while ensuring budget compliance and timely decision-making.

The role requires coordinating with a project team and contractors, securing permits, and mitigating risks to prevent delays or reputational damage. Fluency in multiple languages is a plus for stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in construction project management.
• Proven track record managing projects > RM100 million.
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in project planning, implementation and monitoring through to completion.
• Oversee objectives, deliverables, timelines and quality compliance.
• Manage project budget and ensure spending stays within approved limits.
• Devise cost-efficient plans to enable on-time project completion.
• Ensure permits and legal papers are secured before starting work.
• Report progress to the Project Director and PMO.
• Make strategic decisions and guide project execution.
• Manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage.
• Coordinate with the project team and contractors, overseeing subcontractors as needed.

Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.


• Possessed at least a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in construction project management.


• Proven track record of managing construction projects from start to finish (expected size of projects: >100 million).


• Experienced in manufacturing plant construction is an added advantage.


• Able to communicate in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia & English.


• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.


• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.


• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a high attention to detail.

Responsibility

• To provide leadership in Project Planning, Implementation, Monitoring Project Progress until completion.


• Accountable for project objectives, deliverables, timelines and quality are met.


• To oversee project budget and ensure project spending is within the approved budget.


• To devise cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion.


• Accountable to ensure permits and legal papers are secured ahead of project.


• To report project progress to Project Director and Project Management Office.


• To make strategic decisions and provide leadership/direction for project execution.


• Accountable to manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage


• Responsible for communicating with the Project Team and the contractors (incl. subcontractors) and to extend supervision upon them for effective progression of the project.
