Job summary

Intel Foundry Construction and Sourcing (FCS) in Malaysia seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale industrial facilities projects in Penang or Kulim. This on-site role reports to the Senior Construction Manager and requires broad construction expertise across mechanical, electrical, architectural disciplines, and a strong safety culture.

• Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field with 6+ years of experience with MS Project and Project/Construction management including contract management, schedule and budget development and management; change control; construction means and methods

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver construction projects using multiple project delivery and compensation strategies from initiation through closeout
• Ensure compliance with Construction Management Practices and SOPs across mechanical, process, electrical, and other disciplines
• Interact with customer management; resource plan; direct project teams; manage contracts; collaborate with Tool Install, Facilities Operations and Factory to achieve objectives
• Build and drive safety culture across all project environments and lifecycle stages

This is an onsite position at the campus in Penang or Kulim, Malaysia reporting to the Senior Construction manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Plan and deliver construction projects using multiple project delivery and compensation strategies. From project initiation through closeout, including the development and management of project scope, schedules, budgets, contracting and compensation strategies, EHS, quality program, project controls and change management.
• Ensure that the project is at all times in compliance with Construction Management Practices and to standard operating procedures. Projects include disciplines such as mechanical, process, bulk gas, electrical, architectural, water, process specific support systems (PSSS), IT and I/C.
• Interact and partner with customer management; Resource plan the project; Provide direction to the construction project teams; Have a sound knowledge of the project and construction contracts; Partner with Tool Install, Facilities Operations and Factory to develop and manage an integrated plan that will achieve project objectives and commitments.
• Build and drive safety Culture of Caring in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field with 9+ years experience with MS Project and Project/Construction management on major industrial facilities and large scope base build construction projects including: contract management, schedule and budget development and management; change control; construction means and methods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field with 6+ years of experience with MS Project and Project/Construction management on major industrial facilities and large scope base build construction projects including: contract management, schedule and budget development and management; change control; construction means and methods
• Project Manager Professional (PMP) is an advantage.
• Semiconductor experience
