Job summary

ROSE JAYA RESOURCES is seeking a Purchasing Executive in Malaysia to source construction materials, review quotations, issue purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery to project sites.

You will negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, maintain records, and coordinate with site teams to meet project needs. A diploma or degree in purchasing or business administration and 2 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Purchasing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase construction materials, tools, and equipment per project needs.
• Request and compare supplier quotations for competitive pricing.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery to sites.
• Liaise with suppliers, site teams, and project departments on material requirements.
• Monitor orders, delivery schedules, and outstanding purchases.
• Maintain purchasing records, invoices, and supplier documentation.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery arrangements with suppliers.
