Job summary

Pintaras Jaya Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Purchasing Executive to support daily purchasing operations for construction materials. You will assist the Purchasing Manager, source reliable suppliers, and ensure timely orders to keep sites stocked.

You will follow up on confirmations, coordinate with transporters and site personnel for site mobilisation, and strive to negotiate favourable terms while maintaining quality and cost control.

Qualifications

• Diploma / certificate in Purchasing & Material Management or equivalent.
• 2–5 years experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Purchasing Manager in daily purchasing operations and acquisition of construction materials.
• Seek reliable suppliers to purchase quality goods at reasonable prices.
• Follow up on order confirmations and ensure prompt deliveries to the sites.
• Liaise with transporters and site personnel for site mobilisation and the demobilisation of equipment.
