- Monitor site readiness and factory production status weekly; issue progress updates and adjust resource allocation to prevent delays
- Conduct or oversee on‑site technical measurements prior to factory release, verifying wall plumbness, floor levelness, ceiling drops, shadow gaps, and service points (MEP/electrical/plumbing)
- Review designer drawings and offer professional advice on joinery detailing, material compatibility, edge‑banding, hardware clearances, and termination junctions with existing site finishes
- Issue RFIs and practical solution recommendations for any design discrepancies, structural flaws, or site constraint issues prior to production
- Coordinate with internal production manager/draughtsmen to translate client designer drawings into technical shop/production drawings
- Manage client/designer review and obtain formal signed approval via the Shop Drawings Approval Form before issuing work orders to the factory
- Ensure all incoming drawings are registered, stamped with receipt dates, and distributed to factory and site teams; stamp superseded drawings as "SUPERSEDED" and remove them from point of use
- Liaise closely with the Factory Operations Lead to prioritize products based on site delivery timelines
- Perform pre‑delivery inspections at the factory to verify panel finishes, hardware alignments, grain/veneer matching, and packaging integrity before loading for transport
- Coordinate delivery staging, site access permissions, loading bay/lift bookings, and secure on‑site storage across floor levels
- Brief and manage specialist cabinetry installers on scope, method statements, tolerance requirements, and site expectations
- Enforce strict installation standards: seamless door gaps, carcass levelness, smooth soft‑close hardware operation, precision scribing against irregular walls/ceilings, and clean silicone/joint sealing
- Enforce immediate application of site protection (corrugated sheets, masking, wrap) over installed cabinetry to prevent damage by other trade contractors prior to handover
- Ensure all client‑instructed changes are formally documented via written Site Instructions (SI) or Confirmation of Verbal Instructions (CVI) prior to executing additional site or factory work
- Conduct internal pre‑handover checks to identify and rectify all snags, adjust hardware alignment, and perform deep cleaning before client inspection
- Schedule and lead the official handover inspection with the client/designer
- Document agreed defect lists, supervise prompt rectification, and obtain formal sign‑off
- Issue standard request letters for the Job Completion Sheet, submit Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and submit quotations for any approved variation works
