Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a finance professional to prepare quarterly financial reports, management accounts and reporting schedules for the Group and subsidiaries, and to assist in board reporting packs and financial analysis.

You will monitor project costs, development expenditure, project profitability and cash flow, prepare budgets and forecasts with variance analysis, and support month-end and year-end closing, liaising with auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in property development, construction or a listed company.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, MFRS/IFRS and accounting principles.
• Proficient Excel with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly financial reports, management accounts and reporting schedules for the Group and subsidiaries.
• Assist in preparing Board and Management reporting packs and financial analysis.
• Monitor project costs, development expenditure, project profitability and cash flow.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis, highlighting key financial risks and trends.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and professional advisers as required.
• Ensure financial reporting complies with MFRS/IFRS, Group policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with Project, QS, Procurement and Operations teams on cost control and project financial performance.
• Support improvements to financial processes, controls and reporting efficiency.
