Job summary

Pembinaan Infrastruktur OKH Sdn Bhd invites a seasoned Finance and Accounts Manager to lead our finance and accounting functions for construction projects in Kuala Lumpur. • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification an advantage.
• 5–7 years in accounting/finance; supervisory experience.
• Experience in construction industry and project accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full set of accounts and ensure accurate, timely monthly and annual financial reporting.
• Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts and management reports.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and profitability, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Work with project and quantity surveying teams to reconcile progress claims, variation orders, retention sums and subcontractor payments.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment scheduling and debt collection.
• Ensure construction revenue, project expenses and work in progress are properly accounted for.
• Manage banking relationships, financing facilities and bank guarantees.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, banks and relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements and statutory deadlines.
• Strengthen financial controls, accounting procedures and approval processes.
• Supervise and develop the finance and accounts team.

Construction Finance and Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead the finance and accounting functions of our construction business. You will oversee financial reporting, project costing, cash flow and compliance, working closely with management and project teams to monitor profitability and support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full set of accounts and ensure accurate, timely monthly and annual financial reporting.

Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts and management reports.

Monitor project costs, budgets and profitability, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. A professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA is an advantage.

At least 5-7 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

Experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of project accounting and contract-related transactions.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting and internal controls.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, communication and team management skills.

Able to manage deadlines, work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams.
