Job summary

Double Dynasty Holdings Sdn Bhd, a growing group with operations across East and West Malaysia, seeks a seasoned Finance Manager to oversee the Group's finance and accounting functions, emphasizing construction and property development.

You will lead budgeting, cash flow, financial reporting, and project costing, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong internal controls while liaising with auditors and external parties to support steady financial performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably with experience in construction and/or property development.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting, project costing and project financial management.
• Experience in budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting and management accounts.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian accounting, taxation and statutory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work with different departments and project teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the Group.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports and financial analysis.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, profitability and financial performance for construction and development projects.
• Review project costing, progress claims, variation orders, retention sums and related financial matters.
• Work closely with project, procurement and management teams to monitor project expenditure and cost control.
• Ensure timely preparation of statutory accounts, tax computations and other regulatory submissions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries and other external parties.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements and internal financial policies.
• Review and strengthen financial controls, processes and procedures.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to join our team and oversee the financial management and accounting functions of the Group.
