Job summary

China State Construction Engineering Corporation Malaysia is seeking an experienced document control professional to manage and maintain project documentation, drawings, submittals, RFIs, reports and QA/QC records.

You will handle test documentation, ensure proper filing and archiving, and provide administrative support through tender, project execution, and close-out stages. Fluency in Mandarin is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant QA/QC and/or document control experience in construction.
• Mandarin proficiency is essential due to internal Chinese-language systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle project testing and inspection works, including test specimen preparation and compression testing.
• Able to operate a compression testing machine for concrete specimens.
• Operate and maintain cube compression testing machines.
• Maintain and update company documentation and standard forms.
• Manage, control, and maintain all project documentation, including drawings, correspondences, submittals, RFIs, reports, samples, and QA/QC records.
• Ensure proper document numbering, filing, archiving, tracking, and retrieval in accordance with company and project procedures.
• Distribute documents to relevant project teams and ensure only the latest approved revisions are in circulation.
• Provide document control and administrative support through tender, project commencement, execution, and close-out stages.
