Job summary

Accor is seeking a Concierge Assistant to greet guests warmly and ensure a memorable stay at our hotel in Malaysia. You will assist with luggage, transportation, directions and guest requests, while staying informed about hotel services and local attractions.

Strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia is essential; English is a plus. Fresh candidates are welcome. A friendly, guest-first attitude and team-oriented mindset are required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Friendly, warm and service-oriented personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia; English proficiency is an added advantage.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist guests and colleagues.
• Previous experience in Concierge/Front Office hospitality is an advantage but fresh candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner upon arrival and throughout their stay.
• Assist guests with luggage, transportation arrangements, directions and other requests.
• Be knowledgeable about the hotel's facilities, services, daily activities, events and operating hours.
• Maintain knowledge of local attractions, activities, restaurants, transportation options and recreational facilities to provide recommendations.
• Stay updated on daily hotel operations, occupancy, functions, groups, VIPs/MIPs and special arrangements.
• Review the daily logbook and ensure outstanding matters are followed up.
• Assist with guest inquiries and provide accurate information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Identify opportunities to exceed guest expectations and create memorable experiences through personalised service.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Job Description

As a Concierge Assistant, you will be one of the first points of contact for our guests, creating a warm, genuine and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. You will be responsible for providing attentive and personalised service, assisting guests with their needs and ensuring they have a pleasant stay at the hotel.
