Responsibilities

• Analyse weekly stock availability and compare PO vs production requirements to anticipate issues.
• Manage storage area and participate in weekly analysis to recommend material purchases.
• Define warehouse layout and supervise operators handling receiving, storage and transfer to production.
• Maintain high stock accuracy and update daily system transactions.
• Coordinate monthly stock takes, analyse variances and implement corrections.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production on changes to compound materials and homologation of new raw materials.
• Monitor slow-moving materials and identify uses to avoid disposal costs.
• Lead 5S in compounding area following EMS procedures for disposal and waste handling.
• Attend weekly Compounding Production Department meetings.
• Adhere to ISO14001:2015 policies and company EMS procedures.

Job description

Compounding & Material Handling Executive

The Compounding Logistic Engineer is responsible to supervise the entire raw material flow for the compounding production, from the material requirements forecast till the receiving, storage and issuing to production.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse weekly the stock availability and open PO vs production requirements to anticipate any problem that might impact material availability and maintain high inventory utilization efficiency
• Manage the storage area and actively participate in weekly requirements analysis recommending material to be purchased
• Define the warehouse material layout and supervise a team of operators in charge of receiving, storing and material transfer to production
• Maintain high level of integrity of stock accuracy and daily system update of physical transactions
• Coordinate the monthly stock take, analyse variances and make necessary process correction to improve accuracy
• Work closely with Quality and Production on engineering changes of compound material and homologation of new raw materials
• Monitor the slow-moving material and find possible use before expiring date to avoid costly disposal
• Be a primary owner of the 5S in the compounding area following company procedure for handling material to be disposed and schedule waste and non-conform materials
• Attend weekly meetings of the Compounding Production Department
• Follow and adhere to all procedures related to the Company's EMS Policies in-line with ISO14001:2015 policies
